Convert CSV to QFX for Quicken
If your bank only hands you a CSV and Quicken won't import it, you need a .QFX (Quicken Web Connect) file. QBO Maker builds one from your CSV in seconds, and your statement never leaves your computer.
How to convert CSV to QFX
- Export your transactions from your bank as CSV or Excel.
- Open the QBO Maker converter and drop the file in.
- Confirm the date, amount and description columns (auto-detected).
- Set the output format to .QFX and click download.
- In Quicken: File → File Import → Web Connect (.QFX) File.
Why .QFX and not .OFX? Quicken's Web Connect import expects the Intuit-flavored
.QFX, which includes an INTU.BID tag. QBO Maker adds it automatically. If your software isn't Quicken, use the generic .OFX instead.Works with any bank's CSV
Single signed amount column or separate debit/credit columns; US (MM/DD/YYYY), UK/EU (DD/MM/YYYY) or ISO dates; checking, savings or credit-card accounts. Every transaction gets a unique ID so re-imports never duplicate.
Private by design
Unlike tools that upload your statement to a server, QBO Maker runs the whole conversion in your browser. Open your network tab and confirm: nothing is sent.
